I am an old-school futurist.

I work in traditional media, like clay sculpture, combined with contemporary media such as assemblage, digital drawing, electronic music and laser projections. I use these diverse skills to express the energy that drives and inspires me. It results in a universe of space crafts, futuristic container terminals, thrilling V8-engines, booming megalopolises and mysterious nuclear submarines.

The inventive capacities of the human species and the effects of highly dynamic environments are inspiring forces to me. I am baffled, stunned and continuously impressed by how our world of today was created yesterday. Our predecessors laid out the path for us. The building blocks and infrastructure that they made are already quite advanced compared to the alternative: the brutality of nature.

This daily realization fills me with gratitude and an inexhaustible enthusiasm to contribute: I see myself as a provider of energy. It is my duty to pass along this drive.
